Garbage removal and recycling
Prospect provides twice-a-week backdoor garbage and once-a-week back door recycling pickups. The City also provides curbside once-a-week pickup of yard waste from the second week in April through the second week in January.

The Lawrence C. Falk Library offers at least 3,000 fiction, non-fiction, and biographies in the adult section. The collection includes books, books on tape, and videos for entertainment and education.
Parks and Recreation
Prospect manages four local parks with over 140 acres of preservation. The parks offer areas for community gatherings, hiking, canoeing and viewing nature and wildlife.
