Have A Safe And Happy Halloween!!!!!

by Ron Cundiff / Tuesday, 27 October 2020 / Published in Prospect News

The City of Prospect takes no position one way or the other about whether or not to allow trick-or-treating and other Halloween celebrations this year, but instead leaves that decision up to individual households. That said, please take note of Governor Beshear’s October 26 recommendations for “red zone” counties (such as Jefferson County) to help manage the spike in COVID-19 infections, which include:

  • Do not host or attend gatherings of any size
  • Avoid non-essential activities outside your home
  • Reduce overall activity and contacts and follow existing guidelines for defeating COVID-19

Furthermore, we recommend you follow the guidance for celebrating Halloween safely provided by the Kentucky Department for Public Health.
