Formal Zoning Application For “Prospect Cove” Filed

Wednesday, 26 October 2016 by Ron Cundiff

A formal zoning application for “Prospect Cove”, the proposed low income housing project at River road and Timber Ridge Drive, was filed on October 17. Coincidentally, the same day your Prospect City Council unanimously passed Resolution 3, series 2016. A resolution stating the cities opposition to said development. In response to this filing we will be hosting 2 petitions here at Prospect City Hall, available to all who wish to sign. The first will be a petition to have an evening meeting and hopefully have it moved to the prospect area to better accommodate residents and concerned citizens. The second will be a petition stating our position of opposition to the project. Interested Homeowner Associations or groups may also pick up copies of the petitions to circulate themselves.  We are posting the submitted application and revised plans for your review on the website and we sincerely hope each and every one of you opposed to this unwanted development will drop by and sign both petitions.

John E. Evans

Mayor
